Avocado Chocolate Ice Cream For National Ice Cream Day
Avocados, Guacamole, Fried Avocado Egg Rolls. The possibilities are endless and they are all delicious if they involve avocado. But have you ever thought of making Ice Cream with it? Now before you nod your head, I promise this recipe will surprise everyone that takes a bite. My easy Creamy Avocado Chocolate Ice Cream is rich, creamy, decadent, and has the perfect amount of sweetness added to it. Try it out and be ready to be amazed.
Avocado Chocolate Ice Cream

2 Hass Avocados , Seeded
2 Cups of Heavy Cream
1 Cup of Half & Half
3 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
3 Tbsp Pure Honey
1/2 Cup White Sugar
Juice of Half of a Lime
1/4 Cup of Chopped Chocolate
In a blender, add all of the ingredients except the chopped Chocolate. Blend to fully Mix.
Note: The mixture will create a whipped cream texture)
2. With a rubber spatula, pour the mixture into a bowl and mix in the chopped chocolate (Or additive of choice).
3. Follow the directions of your Ice Cream Machine to complete the Ice Cream. Place in the freezer once completed in a sealed plastic container.
No Ice Cream Machine? No Problem! Place in a Plastic Container and freeze for a minimum of 2 hours.
End Product will be a creamy light Avocado Ice Cream.
Serve and garnish with edible flowers or mint, and chocolate shavings.
Other Possible additives To add after blending: Rum, Raisins, Chopped Mint, Almonds/Walnuts, Chocolate Chips
